Welcome to our Switched On live assembly 2025: Switched On for Every Journey!
Building on your students foundational knowledge of rail safety, our assembly will support them in developing decision making skills, learning to identify potential dangers on their own journeys as well as spotting risky behaviours in others.
Note: this assembly is appropriate for pupils aged 7-11

What will my pupils learn?
By the end of the livestream, pupils will be able to:
- Understand and follow the rules for keeping safe in and around stations, railways and level crossings, as they become more independent and responsible
- Identify different rail safety signs and understand their purpose
- Understand some consequences of taking risks or unsafe behaviour around railways
What will happen on the day?
During the half an hour live event, our host will bring the learning to life through a variety of different formats including videos, quizzes and discussions with rail safety ambassadors!
